KidMode privacy policy
Effective November 2, 2026. Applies to the KidMode website (kidmodegame.com) and the KidMode Android app, both made by AlanzoB Software ("we").
The short version: KidMode collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything your child does stays on your device.
What KidMode stores, and where
To work, KidMode keeps a few things in your browser's or phone's own storage. None of it is sent to us or anyone else:
- the grade you picked, whether background music is on, and the level each game has reached;
- in the app, a count of right and wrong answers, and when each game moved up or down a level, for the grown-ups' learning report;
- in the app, drawings made in Draw, for the grown-ups' art gallery;
- in the app, whether the one-time unlock was bought.
You can clear the learning report from the grown-ups' area, delete drawings one by one, or remove everything by clearing the site's data in your browser or uninstalling the app.
What we collect
Nothing. KidMode has no sign-up, asks for no names, emails or photos, uses no cameras or microphones, and contains no advertising or analytics code. The recorded voice and fonts are part of KidMode itself, so playing does not contact any other service.
Sharing drawings
A grown-up can share a drawing from the art gallery. This opens your phone's normal share menu; you choose the app and the person, and the picture goes only where you send it. KidMode does not see or keep a copy of what you share.
Purchases
The app's one-time unlock is sold through Google Play. Google handles the payment under Google's privacy policy. We do not receive your name, email or payment details; the app only learns from Google Play whether the unlock is owned.
The website's hosting
The website is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your device's IP address to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We do not use this to identify anyone and we run no analytics on it.
Children
KidMode is made for children aged 4 to 9 and is designed to follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy. Because we collect no personal information, there is nothing for a parent to review or delete on our side. The grown-ups' area, purchases and outside links in the app sit behind a question young children can't answer.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions: alanzobsoftware@gmail.com.
